Ballymoney United Youth Academy is a cross-community organisation that has a focus on developing children from the local area. The Academy was originally known as Riada Soccer School which was formed in 2000, the name was changed to Ballymoney United Youth Academy due to the link which was developed with Ballymoney United Football Club.
We have grown from strength to strength over the past decade and can now boast of over 400 child members. The club plays Nationally in the Northern Ireland Boys Football Association, Harry Gregg Foundation Youth League and South Belfast Youth League. We have a range of small-sided teams, 11 aside teams and have a thriving girls section. At BUYA we value all members and seek to develop all children in the game of football as well as helping them be a better person.
